What is the City Council?

Representing all the citizens of our community, the City Council guides the city's decision-making as it sets policies, makes laws, approves budgets, and votes on how and which projects are developed.

Meet the City Councilmembers . . .

Seven elected officials who set community goals and priorities based on the problems and needs of the residents of Merced.
